Battery power is always welcomed, indeed, mainly in such a power-hungry mobile phone, so this is a certain plus. And as for Dr Dre and his Beats Audio? Yes, it is a top quality headset and turning on the Beats Audio software definitely improves the music. However, some quality Sennheiser headset and bass boost / equaliser customisation would make the same end result. Superb mobile phone audio? Not sure about that.

Nevertheless, HTC has taken a majestic mobile phone and made it even better. It is definitely a 5 star mobile phone by users ratings. And yet the XE still will not knock the Galaxy S2 off its top slot, even with the assistance of Dr. Dre. Why is that so? Well, because it is 30% heavier and 30% fatter than the ultra slim Samsung.
